The Official Self‑Defense System of Israel

Krav Maga (pronounced kräv mägä) is Hebrew for contact combat. In its truest form, Krav Maga is a self-defense system designed to answer the needs of a whole population, and it is effective regardless of a practitioner's size, physical prowess, fitness level, age or gender.

This Israeli Martial Art has gained well-deserved attention for its effectiveness, practicality and utility in self-defense situations. Krav Maga has recently become more well-known in the United States, thanks partly to increasing media exposure.

A tactical, adaptive martial art, Krav Maga was developed by Imi Lichtenfeld in Israel just prior to 1948. Krav Maga emphasizes simple and practical techniques, on-the-street scenarios, intense physical challenges, reflex training and sparring in order to develop instinctive, defensive reactions ready for the real world.

Established in and for the brutal battlegrounds of the Middle-East, Krav Maga has been effectively adapted for civilian use, but is also an undisputedly valuable asset to anyone serving in the military, law enforcement, or other professions dealing with provocation or physical threats.

An attack can happen in a matter of seconds, even in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ability to protect yourself and your loved ones is a priceless skill, and it is never too soon to begin training.
